5th Grade Honors/Ceremony

Description: Events planned for 5th grade including the class t-shirt, fundraisers, end of school year party and 5th grade legacy gift.

Fall Festival

Description: A family fun event held during the fall on a Friday afternoon that includes a cake walk, bounce houses, face painting, games and more.

Dad and Daughter Night

Description: An event for our dads and daughters. The committee is responsible for securing a DJ, photographer, flowers, refreshments, advertising and promoting event and anything additional to ensure a fantastic evening.

Fine Arts Coordinator

Description: PTO liaison between Mrs. Siewert (art) and Dr. Jackson (music) to coordinate help for Fine Arts.

Passive Fundraising and Box Tops

Description: Did you know our school earns money for Box Tops? We collect them throughout the school year. Also, if you link your Kroger Plus Card to our school or swipe a Publix card both of those grocery stores donate money to our school. We earn money for things you would purchase anyway.

Description: Working to keep our courtyard beautiful, and help coordinate any landscaping that may need to be done.

Holiday Shop

Description: Every child loves the opportunity to shop for their family at friends during the holiday season. Our Holiday Shop, staffed by volunteers, allows our students this opportunity. We even gift wrap!

Ice Cream Sales

Description: At lunch students have the opportunity to buy an ice cream/Popsicle treat at the end of their lunch. Parents are needed to sell these treats.

Mom and Son Night

Description: A night out for Moms and sons!  Committee will organize event with a vendor, advertise and promote event and anything additional to ensure and fun filled night.

Media Center Volunteer Coordinator

Description: Love books, book fairs, reading to children, alphabetical and/or numerical order? Then the media center is the ideal place for you to volunteer your time. We need weekly volunteers and people to help with our two book fairs a year.

Room Parent Coordinator

Description: Every class has at least one room parent to coordinate parties and events. Those parents get their guidance and information from the Room Parent Coordinator.

Red Bird Run Coordinator

Every year in the spring our school hosts our Red Bird Run, which is a 1 mile fun run/5k event. Parent volunteers and business sponsors make this a healthy and fun event.

Description: The front marquee at the entrance of our school periodically needs to be updated. We provide the message, volunteers provide the time to change out the sign.

Spirit Nights

Description: We support local businesses and local businesses in turn support us. We coordinate with restaurants to set up these events that leave you without dinner dishes to wash. We vary locations and days to make these events available to everyone.

Spirit Wear

Description: We've got spirit, yes we do, we've got spirit, how about you?! Show your love for Crabapple Lane by purchasing t-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles and more.

Staff Appreciation

Description: Quite possibly the best committee...who isn't excited about appreciating those who do so much for our children?! Help to organize lunches 4 times a year for the teachers and staff and to solicit volunteers to help.

PreOrdered School Supplies

At the end of each year, the PTO provides families with the convenient option to  purchase the next year's school supplies online.  These supply kits are available for pick up at Meet The Teacher in August.  This committee oversees the creation of the supply lists and the ordering and distribution of each box.
